Local musicians playing a variety of music in a beautiful outdoor setting of Downtown Grand Haven. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, box lunches, pizza. Music runs from 7-8:30pm. June 14 and 15 FEAST OF THE STRAWBERRY MOON

This 18th Century living history event re-creates life here in the Tri-Cities from 1760-1820 when fur trading was our principal industry. This juried event offers an opportunity to learn history from demonstrators, crafters & entertainers. June 21 BEACH SURVIVAL CHALLENGE

4 fun events • co-ed teams of 4-6 competitors (each team needs to include at least 2 females)• 3 age Groups, Middle School (6-8th), High school & Adult division will be broken into division A & B by ages. • Beach Soccer • Ultimate Frisbee • Tug-o-War and the Ultimate Beach Survival Obstacle Course! June 21 GARDEN WALK

The Tri Cities Garden Club sponsors this fabulous garden walk thru 7 homes. Self-guided walking tours, names of plants are labeled, refreshments at one of the gardens. Tours run from 10-4pm, tickets are $8 each and can be purchased at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum, Spring Lake District Library or at each home the day of the tour. The Grand Haven Tribune and the Chronicle will post the list of gardens to tour so watch for the advertisement. June 28 QUEEN'S CUP SAILING REGATTA

Grand Haven Municipal Marina. Sailboat race from Milwaukee to Grand Haven - Beer tent with live music on Saturday night. the boats will arrive in Grand Haven earlyl am to mid-morning from Milwaukee. Sponsored by the Grand River Sailing Club (616) 846-6402.

June 28 SOCCER IN THE SAND - BEACH SOCCER TOURNAMENT

June 28 ANNUAL SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST

For a quarter century residents and visitors of the Grand Haven area have enjoyed the challenge of building art in the sand by participating in the Sand Sculpture Contest held annually on the last Saturday in June at the Grand Haven City Beach. Groups, families and individuals are judged and awarded prizes after the two-hour time limit to sculpt. Registration is from 9-9:45am and sculpting from 10am-noon with judging to follow. Registration fee is $5 per individual participant and Family/Group of 5 or less $10 which includes a t-shirt. (Family/Group can register for more than 5 for the $10 but only will receive 5 t-shirts with the registration) Additional shirts may be purchased for $5 each. Sponsored by: the Chamber
